South Africa has to be one of the most diverse countrys in the world.
The food is spectacular and the variety is endless. Experiencing good South African food is a must to anyone wishing to realy experience South Africa. Other than the food I recon the wildlife (which do not roam the streets - a common misconception...) is the next best thing.
Durban - South Africa's city of fun and entertainment. It's one of the most interesting Citys in South Africa. Durban's Beachfront is a major attraction. It's almost always sunny the weather is perfect doesn't get windy and it's a highly intertaining city.
Capetown - Is know as the Mother city as it was the first place that was colonised in South Africa. It's full of culture and can be a great place to visit.
Table mountain is a must, you can't go to Capetown and not go to table mountain. You can choose to hike up the mountain or you can take the cable car.
Kruger National Park - Go see the lions and elephants, Kruger National park is the best of the best - you can't get any closer to the big five anywhere else.
The Drakensberg Mountains - The Drakensburg Mountains stretch the entire length of KwaZulu-Natal's western boundary, about 600 miles. Known to the Zulus as Barrier of spears. JRR Tolkien, author of the Lord Of The Rings, used many things he saw in South Africa as inspiration for his book - "The Misty Mountains" is were inspired by The Drakensberg Mountains.
Robben Island - Nelson Mandela was imprissoned on Robben island for 25 years. It's one of South Africa's 7 world heritage sites.
Anyway that's that, my list of places to visit. There are many more places in South Africa that would be great to visit but I'm not going to put them up because I haven't been there so don't know for sure how great they are.
